A credit card is a sensitive item that needs care and attention in order to keep its structural integrity. So to avoid this, here are some simple tips to take care of your credit card.

1) Keep it in a separate case

2) Avoid magnets and other electrical equipment

Thus, the card must be shielded from magnets or magnetism generating items because once exposed to their magnetic field, the contents in the strip align to the field and thus the information contained within is lost. So it is best to avoid these items when carrying your cards.

3) Keep it nice and dry

If your card gets wet, then the magnetic strip's integrity is destroyed at fluid exposure. So when using your card, take it out at the last minute. Furthermore, avoid handing your card but rather place the card on a plate so that the card would be nice and dry at all times.
