Why Do We Work?

Have you ever wondered just why we work so hard in our life? All that getting up in the mornings and travelling to work through dirt, grime and congestion. home loan refinance rate spend a third of our lives working or getting to work and another third sleeping. When you add in the chores, household duties and the downtime, there isnt much left.

And why do we work? Some of us enjoy our jobs. Thats a bonus. But for most of us I suspect we work to earn money to pay for our commodities including the very fuel we use to make our cars take us to work. Or the bus or the metro.

Yet, how many of us would give up our jobs if we did not need them? Probably 99% I think. We do not need the daily grind and hassle. Yet many people that retire miss their daily routine and yearn to be back in their employment. Perhaps they miss the camaraderie and social input that work brings them. Perhaps it Mesothelioma attorneys simply habit. And, yes, it is nice to feel wanted and of some use. The financial gain also comes in handy even in retirement when outgoings should be a little less.

It is as though we are blinkered as to the efforts we undertake simply to keep somebody else in profit. Yes, employment helps us to earn money for ourselves and to pay for the necessities in life. But, if you are an employee then you are simply lining the pockets of somebody else and they are doing considerably less work than you for the privilege.

The only way to avoid this scenario is to become self employed and get employees to work for you. Then, you can relax whilst other perform the daily rituals.

Of course, currently self employed people will have a different view!
