A godly mother begins her day with prayer and meditation. Thus, she invites the Lord to enter into her heart in order to North Dakota Lemon Laws wisdom and strength to take on the challenges of the day. She doesn't attempt to create her own path, but allows God to direct her steps, not merely for a moment in time, but in all things. Hence, she lives to please the Lord by seeking first His kingdom and righteousness in all matters of life. In other words, even though she walks about doing her daily duties, she acknowledges and lives in the presence of God.

Moreover, she designates a time for her children to join her in worship, sharing passages from the Bible with them, and encouraging them to give thanks to God for the many blessings that He has bestowed on them, and for the life that He has given them in Jesus Christ. In other words, she educates them on what it means to appreciate life, and gives them instruction on how to make the most of it by living in obedience to God.

She does not criticize or belittle her children when they misbehave, but corrects them in a loving way, always keeping in mind that just as the Lord is patient with her, she too, must be patient with her children. Thus, she sets an example of what it means to be kind, gentle and forgiving.

A godly mother will not keep the talents of her children in a closet. Rather, she will encourage them to express their gifts, and teach them how to use them to the glory of God. She will also motivate them to share their talents with others, and thereby help them to feel that they are needed and appreciated.

A godly mother will compliment her children often to build up their self-esteem and help them to know that they are valued. She won't humiliate them, or ignore their voice. Instead, she will welcome them to be open and honest with her. Thus, she will gain their confidence and trust by entrusting them with her own confidence. In this way she will teach them how to be thinkers and not mere reflectors of the thoughts of other people. And her children will grow to love her for this!
